Lanceti komisjoni 2020. aasta dementsuse ennetamise raporti j\u00e4rgi on 40% <\/strong><strong>dementsus<\/strong><strong>e juhtudest edasi l\u00fc<\/strong><strong>katavad v<\/strong><strong>\u00f5<\/strong><strong>i ennetatavad.<sup>\u00a0 <\/sup>(1)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Dementsuse ennetus algab juba nooruses<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Elukestev \u00f5pe ei olegi s\u00f5nak\u00f5lks, vaid meie aju tervise jaoks p\u00e4riselt oluline. P\u00f5hiosa haridusest omandame nooruses ja k\u00f5rgem haridustase suurendab aju reserve. K\u00f5rgema haridustaseme abil v\u00e4heneb dementsusesse haigestumine hinnanguliselt 7% v\u00f5rra, toob v\u00e4lja Lanceti komisjon. (1)<\/p>\n<p>Ka hilisemas elus vajab aju pidevat ja pingutust n\u00f5udvat stimulatsiooni. Soome m\u00e4luh\u00e4ireid ennetava sekkumisuuringu alusel FINGER on ajule tervislik uute asjade \u00f5ppimine ja hobidega tegelemine, n\u00e4iteks muusika, keele\u00f5pe ja lugemine. Samuti on vaimselt stimuleeriv m\u00e4ngimine, mis toetab sotsiaalset aktiivsust. (2) Miks mitte avastada taas fantaasiamaailm koos laste ja lastelastega v\u00f5i otsida kapist \u00fcles lauam\u00e4ngud, mida pere ja s\u00f5pradega koos m\u00e4ngida.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>K<\/strong><strong>eskeas tuleb tegeleda krooniliste haiguste ennetuse ja raviga<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Keskeas annab k\u00f5ige olulisema, kuni 8%-lise dementsusesse haigestumise v\u00e4henemise kuulmislanguse ennetus ja ravi. (1) K\u00f5rvakuulmise hoidmisel on oluline v\u00e4ltida \u00e4kilisi valje helisid, samuti ei tohiks pikema aja v\u00e4ltel tervislikku helinivood \u00fcletada ja v\u00e4hendada tuleks taustam\u00fcra. Soovitatav on vajadusel kasutada m\u00fcra summutavaid vahendeid ja liikuda heliallikast kaugemale.<\/p>\n<p>Kui inimene ei kuule h\u00e4sti, l\u00e4heb suurem osa ajut\u00f6\u00f6st lihtsalt kuulamise pingutuse peale, mitte uue info t\u00f6\u00f6tlemiseks ja talletamiseks. Kuulmislangusega inimene kipub ka sotsiaalsetest suhetest eemale t\u00f5mbuma, mis s\u00fcvendab isoleeritust ja soodustab dementsuse, aga ka depressiooni ja \u00e4revuse teket.<\/p>\n<p>Kui tekivad kuulmislanguse s\u00fcmptomid, n\u00e4iteks seltskonnas on raske k\u00f5nelejast aru saada v\u00f5i tekib k\u00f5rvavile, on vajalik p\u00f6\u00f6rduda k\u00f5rvaninakurguarstile. Hea on teada, et suurem osa kuulmislangustest on ravitavad v\u00f5i abivahendiga korrigeeritavad.<\/p>\n<p>Teised haigused, mille ennetuse ja raviga tuleb keskeas tegeleda, on k\u00f5rgverer\u00f5hkt\u00f5bi, diabeet, rasvumine ja alkoholi liigne tarvitamine. (1) Eesti kuulub Euroopa k\u00f5rge s\u00fcdame-veresoonkonna haiguste riskiga rahvaste hulka, seega on perearstil regulaarne verer\u00f5hu, veresuhkru ja kolesteroolitaseme kontroll ja vajadusel ravi alustamine v\u00e4ga olulised.<\/p>\n<p>Lisaks annavad perearst ja pere\u00f5ed head informatsiooni s\u00fcdame-veresoonkonna haiguste riske maandavateks elustiilimuutusteks. Olulised on f\u00fc\u00fcsiline aktiivsus ja tervislik toitumine. Soome FINGER sekkumisuuring soovitab s\u00fc\u00fca rohkelt puu- ja k\u00f6\u00f6givilju, t\u00e4isteratooteid ja kala. Eelistama peaks madala rasvasisaldusega piima- ja lihatooteid, n\u00e4iteks kana ja taist loomaliha. Toiduvalmistamisel tuleks loomsed rasvad asendada taimsete \u00f5lidega ja toidusedelisse lisada tervislikke taimseid rasvu ning valku sisaldavaid p\u00e4hkleid, seemneid ning kaunvilju. V\u00e4hendada tuleks toidus suhkru ja soola sisaldust. (2)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Dementsuse ennetamiseks pole kunagi liiga hilja<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Suitsetamine t\u00f5stab oluliselt s\u00fcdame-veresoonkonna haiguste ja pahaloomuliste kasvajate tekke riski, seega on parem suitsetamist \u00fcldse mitte alustada. Kui tehtud kahju organismile osaliselt tagasi p\u00f6\u00f6rata ei saa, on suitsetamisest loobumisest siiski kasu igas eas. Ka hilisemas eas langetab suitsetamisest loobumine dementsusesse haigestumise v\u00f5imalust kuni 5% v\u00f5rra. (1)<\/p>\n<p>Sotsiaalne isolatsioon on laialt levinud probleem ja hilisemas eas t\u00f5stab oluliselt dementsuse riski. (1) Aja v\u00f5tmine \u00fcksteise jaoks, suhtlemine pere ja s\u00f5pradega on ajule tervislik. \u00dcksteisel k\u00fclask\u00e4imine ja erinevatel sotsiaalsetel \u00fcritustel osalemine on vaimselt ning f\u00fc\u00fcsiliselt stimuleeriv.<\/p>\n<p>Dementsuse riski t\u00f5stab ka depressioon. (1) Tihe sotsiaalne v\u00f5rgustik ja stabiilsed suhted ennetavad meeleoluh\u00e4irete teket, seega tuleb veelkord r\u00f5hutada suhete v\u00e4\u00e4rtust. Kui aga l\u00e4hedased v\u00f5i inimene ise m\u00e4rkab p\u00fcsivat meeleolulangust, huvipuudust, energiakadu v\u00f5i teisi depressioonile viitavaid s\u00fcmptomeid, tuleb p\u00f6\u00f6rduda kas perearstile, vaimse tervise \u00f5e v\u00f5i ps\u00fchhiaatri vastuv\u00f5tule.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Elukestev liikumine<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Liikumine parandab elukvaliteeti ja suurendab tervena elatud aastate hulka. Terve elu kestel ja ka hilisemas eas on oluline f\u00fc\u00fcsiline aktiivsus, mis parandab keskendumisv\u00f5imet ja v\u00e4hendab dementsuse tekke riski. (1) Lisaks on liikumisel suurep\u00e4rane efekt ainevahetusele, kehakaalu ohjamisele ja meeleolule.<\/p>\n<p>Soome FINGER sekkumisuuring soovitab mitmek\u00fclgset f\u00fc\u00fcsilist aktiivsust, mis on individuaalselt kohandatud ja meelep\u00e4rane. F\u00fc\u00fcsiline aktiivsus v\u00f5iks sisaldada j\u00f5utreeningut 1-3 korda n\u00e4dalas ja kestvustreeningut 2-5 korda n\u00e4dalas ning olla suunatud v\u00f5imekuse suurendamisele, p\u00f6\u00f6rates t\u00e4helepanu r\u00fchi ja tasakaalu parandamisele. (2)<\/p>\n<p>Loomulikult peab olema tagatud ohutus ja aastaaegade vaheldudes tuleb teinekord varieerida ka spordialasid.
